And it removes the Apple one that was working in Lion. Installing the latest Apple sanctioned Lion Java Update results in <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.macrumors.com\/showthread.php?t=1412212\">exceptions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>[Update July 29th &#8211; it seems there is an jre from apple now that will auto-install]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nothing yet from Apple, but don&#8217;t worry- the Oracle JDK7 works fine.<\/p>\n<p>Just go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/java\/javase\/downloads\/jdk-7u4-downloads-1591156.html\">Oracle&#8217;s download site and download the latest JDK<\/a> for OSX. You may need to signup, but it&#8217;s free.<\/p>\n<p>There is <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oracle.com\/henrik\/entry\/oracle_jdk_and_javafx_sdk\">some official blogging<\/a> from Oracle about this.
