I&#8217;ve found that i&#8217;m using most of the available USB ports (many for multiple serial interfaces I use to connect to my SGI consoles). I also have a external drive that is USB 3, as are most devices now days. Getting USB 3.1 is pretty simple- just get the Sonnet Card. They have Both Type A USB 3.0 and the new Type C USB 3.1 cards.
